Ohtagaki hasn't done grimdark suffering porn. He included a lot of sex scenes in Moonlight Mile early on, but he never drew outright porn. And he's never drawn out characters suffering in any of his works. Are you confusing him for another artist?

I wouldn't say that's what he does. Outside of his Front Mission manga (which he was only a writer on) and a couple scenes in Gundam Thunderbolt he hasn't really done that all that much. His biggest manga (aside from Gundam) Moonlight Mile isn't like that and his other modern works like Gundam Thunderbolt Gaiden and his Dougram manga also aren't like that.
