"I see. If that's so, you may go now," the Prince smiles generously.
Okay but like, am I the only one who's a bit disturbed by this conversation? And mind you, I'm usually the type to melt at protective and possessive love interests. But here, why exactly is he putting a claim on her when she was repeatedly shown to be disinterested at best? And like, what if she did want to meet her lover - would the Prince have forbidden her from doing so? On what basis?
Ughhh, every time the plot is getting even relatively good he just appears out of nowhere to derail the training of her troops, or steal her shining moment, or introduce the oppressive romance aspect we've seen a hundred times before, and so much better done at that.
