Huh, so GUI is playing Dragon Empire this go around.
even using Corrosive Smoke Signals.

Gonna be even more interesting with Taizo goes up against it.

I'll put this as an aside to point out how gui is playing because that was downright evil. Gui made sure to only attack in his gripho turn because it guarantees he only deals 1 damage as he can disperse the trigger effects that way (random crit as we saw) as he can't call anything outside of g0 s while in griphoseed.
To those who know damage denial, it is downright evil because it forces tohya to be unable to attack very hard on the first accord turn as it denies him Alden, and more importantly scouting owl CC after Alden. This potentially prevents tohyas from cycling up to 6 cards from his deck.

Next turn esperidea hits tohya, a single crit will put him in critical condition with the threat of OT next turn. If it didn't pan out gui can just hit RG and force him to use resources from hand to attack while he has an easy time defending. Gui with DE can essentially end the game at 2 damage specially by limiting tohyas ability to run through his deck for PGs. And that last one is important. Tohyas can survive the OT turn with 2 PGs to denying him CB means he doesn't get as many opportunities to burn through his deck and fish for one.
