So this is even more of a retarded premise.
You're telling me that the royal mages don't know the "Green Sage" from the heroes' party - literally the only beast person who can use magic and was appointed by the old king - and kicked her out because she's a beastman who didn't graduate from the academy?
Shouldn't the academy have at least had records of the only magic a beastman can do? Somehow no other magic fanatic decided to check on the only magic not done by humans? Hell, no degenerate furry out there that looked up to the legend of the Green Sage? It'd be the first fucking thing I'd research.
For fuck's sake, the last chapter even made a big deal about how the guild has her crest in their records. The same records that that show that she's a sage and can do magic. Holy hell, I know that I got looked down upon and kicked out of x is a salaryman's self-insert dream but fuck.

Kind of an interesting premise.
Humans thinking they're a better species because (most) beastmen apparently can't use magic, so they don't believe our FMC and think she's making it up.. even the guild scoffs at it saying that even as a sage, she's got no magic to be able to use magic.
I'm finding it amusing that all of the cat magic is just... common things that cats actually do, and the effects follow suit with their behaviors.
Looking forward to the identity shift, and to learn more about this grandkid.
