I'd love to know how much weight "if the conditions were right" carries in her evaluation.
It could range from 'if you caught Julius off-guard' to 'EVERYTHING has to be in your favor (peak fighting condition while Julius isn't, able to use your gift optimally while Julius can't, allies while Julius is alone, terrain advantage far away from the sea etc) and even then it's not guaranteed'. I figure it's somewhere between those extremes, but I like how this series doesn't do simple power creep

The one armed dude kept reminding of someone, but now I remember it was the dude who killed the Flame Pillar in Kimetsu no Yaiba.

And now I've learned Hylophobia is an irrational fear of forests... or I guess in this case anything remotely associated with the wild outdoors?

I really liked this chapter.

I hope the witches at least get some good hits in on Helem.

if you tell him to touch grass he might die lmao

damn, we're gonna go against the necromancer again next arc? if there's someone who came from the future, i'm gonna need a spoiler on whether she dies before the end of this new arc

Hylophobia huh, I wonder if it will ever come back to the forest god/spirit thing we saw in the beginning or I'm just overthinking it...

Also, gotta keep titties blood pumping :dogkek:

fwiw the plot is setting her up to get killed by the revived Angvall:
1) out of impulse she took the sachel of Angvall's hair and ended up reviving her as a puppet
2) Elstri warned/predicted that her impulsive nature would get her killed someday
3) We've already seen that if a person has a sufficiently strong will, they can (temporarily) free themselves from her control (as demonstrated by Arkos)
4) A strong will is pretty much THE defining trait Angvall has.

Is this ironclad? nah, but I'm willing it into existence.
