How about instead of pretending to care, you just pull her away and tell the team to "fucking grow some balls and play on your own" and force her not to participate because her leg is hurt? It's not fucking life and death situation, and would not lead to anything but people wishing her well, if she were to not participate. But her participating and thus them losing because she's hurt and didn't leave the game before it was too late will lead to everyone hating her, because she's the reason they lost, because she was too dumb to just not take part. There's nothing brave about participating even if you're injured, it's just plain stupid and deserves all the hate that's coming towards her. Yes, the person who caused the injury deserves to get shit on, but so does she, if she doesn't fucking use her brains even that much.
