Most guys are already pro male birth control pill and the entire reason we havent had it decades ago is badly disguised ulterior motives from government officials dumping red tape all over the place focusing on barely existent side effects. I'd argue that males would have a pill for prevention while women have a harder time getting a pill if it's even a legal drug. Deadbeat anyone is going to be much harder to create when both halves have access to an effective birth control method that can't be easily sabotaged by the other. (men with the pill, and women having the morning after and abortion) Men might have some trouble getting the pill to reflect how annoying it is trying to get the prescription for it in Japan as you need a proper visit to the doctor in order to get the prescription each and every single time you need a refill (weekly? monthly?) from what I hear.

I'm not saying every guy is a deadbeat and refuses to take responsibility, I'm asking you in what world would a Father ever try to convince his son to knock-up a girl so he can lock her down? Usually the idea is to avoid unwanted pregnancies, regardless of whether you would take responsibility for an accident or not. I've never heard of a guy trying for an unplannned pregnancy "on purpose", especially before you're old enough for stable income, outside of stories of rapist sociopaths.
