Chat for manga pages/chapters/manga itself.

What?
So, what if we could have a little live chat for each page, each chapter, each manga which you could see while reading?

How?
So, it can be a little chat box on the bottom right side of the screen or anywhere else.

The people who are reading the same manga as you can send messages within that chat live and you can talk with them.

Whenever a user sends a message, the information about which chapter they are on and which page they are on also gets sent to the server.

Now there can be 3 modes within that chat:

1. Page mode: This will hide all the messages which were sent by people who are not on the same page as you.
2. Chapter mode: This will hide all the messages which were sent by people who are not on same chapter as you.
3. Full mode: This will show all the messages.

Why have these 3 modes? So that the manga doesn't gets spoiled by people who are on later pages/chapters.

Why?
Soo, I don't know if it's just me but I think this can make reading manga so much more fun, like imagine you can chat about things happening in manga live with other strangers online who are reading it at the same time as you.

Like Twitch but for Mangas.

You can read the page, talk about it to someone who is reading the same page, and have fun reading together with strangers online.

Though most chats will be completely empty.

On twitch everyone is seeing the same thing at the same time and reacting to it at that moment.

The feature your describing is more like a recorded stream on YouTube, where the messages are just echos of the past.

This is a bad and yet interesting idea.
By interesting, I mean that It be would "nice" to have people engaged with the manga/pages/chapter that I am reading in real time.
It "might" be easy to implement too.
Just using a websocket/webRTC server to broadcast the messages in live. But with the method, the old messages won't be seen by new guests.

But let's be real, this is a bad idea.
Not only It would be mess to moderate, but it will also cost a lot on the website bandwidth.
And even if I find that idea interesting, many people don't.
Why would they use the live chat where they can have a more interesting conversation in the forums?
