I love this new character! She's fascinating, so many questions...
How is she so greedy? How the money reliefs her anxiety? How is it that it isn't enough!? Is she a she? (lol) Also, how does she feel about sunrises? Is it anxiety? Is it shame? I'm gonna read this again.
Edit: I think I get it, she's afraid of dieing with a sum worth of little consequence, because that's what God would deem her worth.
It might be related to her looking away from sunrises because she might think God is watching and He may not be okay with what she's doing, by making herself become more worthy than what He chose.
