I'd say it confirms succubus theory but the next page seems to imply that it was the father who was a demon (an incubus?) or maybe even a dragon, considering that it is supposed to take place in the same universe as Dragon Maid.

Am I the only one who found this chapter to be kinda horrific.

Coma's really freak me out so watching her desperately trying to bring him back day after day with no response really makes my skin crawl. It's body horror for me.

@Jackist I don't think Hikaru was in a coma per se, it was more just a temporary catatonic state, where he's awake but mentally withdrawn.

That's kinda the fear I have. Like being in a medically induced coma but your still awake but people think your asleep and they start operating.

If you go to the "Related" manga section, most of Cool Kyou-Shinja's major titles are listed under "shared universe". I can't completely vouch for that but Elma did show up in a cameo in the 4-koma bonus manga a couple of chapters ago (not sure if the 4-koma are meant to be canon to the main part of the manga).

One minor thing about Dragon Maid that seems to connect to recent revelations in Chichi Chichi was that Shota thought Lucoa was a succubus at first. He was wrong about Lucoa but not necessarily about the existence of succubi.
