It's not like a library would need to be completely closed because of something like an elevator renovation, but I imagine the management decided it's all the same for all the staff members to spend a few vacation days right there, when the place would be partially compromised anyway. It's even in the middle of a holiday season. As an extra benefit, anyone with a disability relying on the elevator wouldn't feel unequal when it's closed for everyone.

I can't help but recall about an one-shot (forgot the name) with the premise of a "logical couple" using facts to justify dating, moving together, marrying, etc... and it ends with the wife dying of cancer or something and the husband in tears saying"you leaving me like that isn't logical"...

Why would you tell me this?
