Really touching and a little scary. Made me recall my own days of chemo and sickness as a child. That feeling of alienation because of sickness is perfectly reflected here by the alieness of the dragon world. I loved how the dragon was presented as this inscrutable force of nature, so we never really got to know what it was thinking even if we could recognize it as a thinking being.

Great stuff all around. Really looking forward to the next one :thumbsup:

i think the dragon they were speaking about had signed the pledge with the two main characters, so it wasn't a dragon that would try to intentionally harm someone; so if i had to guess, i think it was trying to put the girl out of her misery by leaving her to "sleep", but maybe it was unintentionally doing something bad, shown from the main character saying that being in that state was worse than death, so the seaweed (for good omens) was some sort of apology

but that's just a guess haha, i'm guessing it will show more information on everything later on
