Hajime-san while hiring Tenma said that he has to become a makeshift husband for the sisters. Doesn't mean that they're married, just that they're living together. Weird, I know. That's why I put quotation marks. There's also the problem with localization during translations. Phrases that are used in Japanese sometimes sound weird in English.
