The artstyle is refreshing, the story however I find it boring. Its all very japanese. The alien could have not been an alien and it would be the same, for example. Sounds like an excuse to make them live together.

That's how a lot of stories go, they find some generic or unique way of getting the main couple in certain situations (such as living together), but I don't think it's that bad, lulu is pretty interesting and no human could be as tall as her, plus the story and her character would be completely different if she was just a human
