Well well well. I always had a bad feeling about that guy. I could tell he was no good ever since he tried to kill everyone when he first turned into a choujin while ranting about how jealous he was of Tokio.

I think sora knew partially that queem was somehow alive and tried to induce Tokio to become her clone (doing the whole bestowing and forcible injecting thing) but didn't know azuma was the clone of queem. So it's like both of them being induced to become fake choujin X because the last 2 refused to die and continued their proxy war into the succeeding generations.

Reread the first 2 chapters to check, and Ely never got an injection. I think she might the true choujin x for this generation, I hope the future vision tokio had wasn't them teaming up to defeat/save a triple choujin x Ely

People can become choujin naturally, zora juice is just the only way to force it
Ely probably already become a choujin a while back but her power being absorption made it so nothing really happened
