The ending is that that guy actually worked himself to the bone, showing that ragged appearance and finally purchased the female android

Its a happy ending ain't it?

Whoa. That was sad, but a fresh plot development from what I expected. That was a meaningful read.

Wow, what a hit to the stomach, he said he would run away with her, but after being told he will not be rich anymore and his father will not support him even if he needs it...his brain just refused it.

Why is the author note comic untranslated?
Mostly, imo anyway, its not worth the effort. Usually its just the author's doing a slowburn blog lifepost rather than anything to do with the series plot, design or direction.
If a scanlator bothered translating any author's notes, its usually pertaining on when the series story officially ending, the series getting axed, announcement of an animated adaptation, or changing of artist(s).

You know, I would imagine the level of civilization that starts the SETI-G/Probe Girl project would look something like the Nation of Esthar from Final Fantasy 8. You know? Futuristic city that stretched beyond the horizon, flying/hovering cars and trucks, etc etc. But by the limited view we have, it barely looks like London in the 80s. Wooden flooring in the bar, old style street lamps, stone cobbled pedesterian bridge. Not to mention still using a ballistic pistol.

Many authors like to give the future a old vibe, cyberpunk mixed with steampunk.
In some cases is simply because they put their "present" and said it was the future, like Moonlight Mile have people in 2030 using 2000 flip phones with a hologram feature in them, simply because it was before the iphone invasion.

I wonder how much of the son's decision would have changed if he had time to think over what to do after losing his father's money.
Maybe not much but I consider the shock as a factor as well when he gave up.
Naive on his part to not think about it until the end when it hit him, but if he had considered the implications before starting the runaway plan, could things have turned differently? 50/50.
But since he was put in a "choose now! NOW!" situation, I can see why they would never run away together.

Er, sadly no. This is the backstory behind Nona. SETI-G is the organization behind the "Planetary Investigation" mission.
To further this, he was an "Agri Farm" (farmer) located on Earth.

Then add the note about "Transplantation From Another Individual/External Storage Medium".

I think this is Nona's past life. And that guy is the farmer she is homesick for. Providing mental anchor for the probe unit.

And @Baronoflight because this is a commission, I bet translating those cost more money too

I think people often forget that somebody out there paid for this to get it translated, every single chapter by this group. I do think the scanlator isn’t on par with a paid service, but that’s just my take.
