Yes, but Japan takes severe artistic liberty with a lot of historical/mythological figures. Say, for example, turning King Arthur into a woman.Jeanne D'Arc irl did have short hair, and loved cannons. Was actually quite the spitfire. She does have big boobs irl. Also was not blonde.
Also things she said "You will be massacred."
Personally speaking, that's tame. And is actually well done. Fate's version of Atilla the Hun though is fucking stupid.Yes, but Japan takes severe artistic liberty with a lot of historical/mythological figures. Say, for example, turning King Arthur into a woman.
True, and I agree - but Japan has also fetishized blondes.Personally speaking, that's tame. And is actually well done. Fate's version of Atilla the Hun though is fucking stupid.
Creative liberties is a given, sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. I don't mind blonde saintly Jeanne, but short hair, brunette or ravenette who is a spitfire will at least will be closer to history and will help that Jeanne stand out from the crowd.
I was struggling to not type Jeanne Alter. An evil Jeanne with short hair, a headpiece and wields a flag?
Sure haven't seen THAT before, no siree
You don't like the human-sized brain unit of the civilization-destroying alien kaiju who soloed the alien machine-gods that ruled Atlantis?Personally speaking, that's tame. And is actually well done. Fate's version of Atilla the Hun though is fucking stupid.
Absolutely not, wish there wasmore Hun, less alien kaiju, I give the Greek machine Gods a pass, due to Mazinger a series I like very much did that first and the Greek Machine Gods of Fate are 100% a reference to the machine gods of Mazinger. You don't like the human-sized brain unit of the civilization-destroying alien kaiju who soloed the alien machine-gods that ruled Atlantis?
