Now that they're going to be in open rebellion they can just cut the heads off of the protagonist girl and her reverse harem and no one will ask any real questions. Especially when after they win they pin the blame of the kidnap of Anastasia on them. I know they did it but whether or not people believe them is a different story. I'm sure many people will just view it as an excuse/justification of their "rebellion" even though that is the unjust accusation of treason from the king.

Just in case for people that don't know spanish "¿No huelen algo feo?" ------> "Don't you smell something (nasty)?" paranthesis for nasty because I think you could infer it from context that they are talking about a bad smell.
