One of the few things I now about LOTR is that goblins and orcs are the same in there

Yeah, LotR inspired many of modern fantasy races, but one thing it didn't do is differentiate goblins and orcs. Modern goblins are (usually)small green-skinned humanoid creatures while orcs are usually pig(or boar)man. Orcs/goblins in LotR are corruption of other creatures, since only Illuvatar(creation god) can create (intelligent) lives.

Those are the best horned rabbits I've ever seen in these types of manga.

Are you absolutely certain about that, boy? :nyoron:
Exactly the point I was about to make. It surprises me a little that nobody else pointed it out before you.
How is reading and writing (And math, but maybe he remembers that from his previous life?) not essential?! Or did he conveniently also get a skill (that is not listed) to automatically convert writing from this world to his old memory's language skills, or whatever?

Anyway, scruffy looking gentelemen is a nice change of pace. =P
And I really like the look of the monsters in this. A bit of a change of pace from the usual copy-paste imagery of goblins and/or horned rabbits. I'm hoping to see more of these designs that are less used and maybe also unique to this story.
