The scene of the horse gaining conscience, actually all the animals gaining sentience, is really good imo. Before gaining sentience, anything you experienced is normally forgotten. But the old owner was able to awaken the memories, both good and bad ones. 👌

I like how Andrew who previously professed to be a seeker of knowledge is so fiercely rejecting something that goes against his view of the world that he literally cannot comprehend what is happening in front of him.

It's also telling that he was basically able to understand Jadis - a 7ft tall evil witch queen is something that he thinks can exist but a talking animal is beyond him.
