to anyone else wondering about this manga or whatever, there is a user on Reddit by the name of u/CaLLyWasTaken24 who uploaded self translated chapters on Reddit. So far as of October 6th, 2025, he has uploaded chapters 31-39. But he has been inactive for 26 days so far, so don’t get your hopes too high.
Personally, I’ve been using
https://www.mgeko.cc/manga/m-being-misunderstood-as-a-soccer-genius/ to get caught up from chapter 17-36 then found Cally’s post.
Additionally, the website he used to grab and translate said chapters was,
https://02.ikiru.wtf/manga/im-being-misunderstood-as-a-soccer-genius/ which is in a language I don’t recognize. The website itself goes up to chapter 45 with weekly updates.
