I am sorry if there is evidence of infidelity then the person that breaks the marriage contract (sleeps with another partner) loses custody. I thought it was innocent before proven guilty. Why are man guilty even if proven innocent? And why do women not really have repercussions? Trust me if this happened the other way I'd be just as mad 😡

It's this way in all countries. There is a centuries-old belief that children without mothers do worse than children without fathers. Nevermind that it's been scientifically shown that fatherless homes have higher rates of criminality, promiscuity, antisocial behavior, etc. When you add judges' innate tendency to go easy on women, well...

yea the way custody works is crazy in japan. I'm not fully knowledgable in the subject but its very one sided to the point where if you look up stories back enough, Japan used to be, still is but i might be wrong, called the country of legal child kidnapping. Cus the parent with primary custody has so much control, they don't do 50/50 that much. and the problem is the parent who doesn't have custody, they have very little options. i saw stories how the other parent tried to visit their kid, but bc they didn't have custody, the parent who does was able to call the police on them and get them arrested for stalking.

Again this is from memory, idk if a lot has changed in the last decade but there is a lot of problematic parts of japan that gets covered under anime and waifus.
