Lol, as expected, Shion went full fangirl mode at Takuya's new look. And don't worry about the hair, Shion, Takuya thinks you look cute no matter what. And Takuya was getting a few critical hits on Shion to fluster her (and make her feel all gooey inside).

I was laughing so much at the exact 1000 yen cost for the groceries. She unintentionally spoiled her own plan, but Takuya with the support in offering her a receipt that allows her to continue as normal. And come on Takuya; by now, he should know why she wants change, receipts, etc. from him at the store, lol.

And you go Takuya, taking that step to set that date for the fireworks festival for confession, which then get fast-tracked with a little help from Takayuki. And as I expected, this chapter ends with setting up for the amusement park arc.

Spoiler: Guessing on the next few chapters

• Next chapter may end on a cliffhanger with Takuya feeling a bit out of place with who he will encounter.
• The following chapter should be just amusement park time.
• Going to guess chapter 23 or so will have some good stuff in it, as it's getting close to the end of WN volume 2.
• The fireworks festival will still have a purpose, just a different one from what we were initially shown. And it's something that we won't have to worry about noise interference...
