Cleopatra is a naive young girl instead of a shrewd politician who suffered hardship during her father's exile, visited Rome, learned about the world outside of Egypt? Her story is incredibly intriguing, standing out in history among other man. This could have detailed her harsh exile with her father struggle to maintain power. Her rejection of her brother's and his advisers rule. Her second exile and armed resistance against her brother. Her incredible journey to sneak deep into enemy territory to meet and seduced Caesar in a short amount of time. Her delicate position within the confine of Caesar clumsy handling of the siege of Alexandria and his eventual triumph. Then, their affair during the trip down the Nile. Caesar was so infatuated by Cleopatra that in the middle of settling the civil war, he spend a month on the trip with Cleopatra. This is all before Caesar left Egypt and her unborn child. No other women have held such prominence in ancient history. What a shame.
