Edit: I didn't intend for this to be clickbait. I was legitimately told there would be a shut down by several friends messaging me. I'm sorry I was ill-informed.
Since I heard mangadex is shutting down, are there any other websites that upload manga scans without ads/malware/phishing/etc? I was really sad when batoto shut down and tried to use kissmanga but it was really mean in the comments (which were always displayed) and always had people having sex in the ads. I tried adblocker but they had a thing that wouldn't let me on the site with it. I got told about mangarock and mangakakalot but then I was told they steal from scanlators and that seems like the whole issue that caused mangadex to go so why recommend it? I know I can go to all the scanlator sites individually but that takes a lot of time to find everything I want and I only get an hour for manga time. It would be nice to have another site to use and maybe one that doesn't let people with groups named after the r word. I also need it because I help out on a blog about slimes in the media, where I skim through (non-ecchi) fantasy and isekai manga for slimes, make note of the title, appearance chapter, and image, and then catalogue it.

I'm not trying to twist anything, but I've never made a game about slimes. I would love to, sort of a cross between Slime Rancher and Digimon where you can raise them to be all sorts of slimes and evolve different ways.

Ignore all the drama. MD is not shutting down, and none of the staff posts would lead to that conclusion. Just a few groups attacking the site via the threads igniting crap.

I sincerely hope they retitle this after making a response, to reduce misinformation spreading. Forum titles like this shouldn't be left alone since they will appear on homepage (face of mangadex) often. A good way to scare off new users.
