Man, I'd like to know what goes through her mom's head to act like this. First wanting to making her see her own grandfather die (whether Mom injected an overdose of morphine for a "peaceful" death, actual poison, or just plain air for death by embolism), and now we find out that she had her via sperm donation, actually bothered to introduce her to the sperm donor (who seemed well-mannered despite lacking any parental attachment to his own daughter), and for some reason doesn't want her daughter to meet or ask about said man ever again.

@MarqFJA87 Clearly, it's a supervillain backstory.

But really, I'm guessing it's just to show how cold, distant and shitty of a parent she is. For all we know, she only ever had Bianca for the purpose of some clone/mind transference plot and achieve pseudo immortality.

Maybe the dark twist is that she actually succeeded, and her mind has replaced Bianca's already, which is why she has the emotional range of a dead fish.
