I completely understand the thing about size being an issue. I have all of Piers Anthony's 43 Xanth novels which until number 38 were all the same size. Then he had to change publishers and the books are now taller and thinner and it pisses me off. I'm working towards getting all of Terry Brooks Shannarra series in hardcover because the paperbacks come in different sizes. Why can't all publishers just agree on one specific standard size? Why do they have to fuck with my library?

@DrSuperKamiGuru I'm not too doctrinaire about size up to a point, but what pisses me off is the trend towards so many things being published only in Trade Paperback size. WTF, they cost twice as much and they don't fit on my shelves, give me proper paperbacks goddammit.
