i was misreading the title of this as Colorful AntiMONY, because of the vol 1 cover depicting color on the character's face, and the fact that antimony is a mineral that's been historically used in cosmetics

but the title is actually AntiNOMY, which is a philosophical position where you hold two beliefs that are each reasonable on their own, but which contradict each other when taken together

since shibata-sensei has written other manga about makeup and cosmetics, i wonder if she chose the title with both ideas in mind.

Romance tag is 100% appropriate for the series. It’s yet to be determined whether it’s GL, so it shouldn’t be tagged as such for now.

I mean, if you can't determine WHO she is romantic with, its not really a romance. Her looking for a lover and only finding friends isn't a romance.

If the type of romance is up in the air, the romance tag should be too.

Talk of romance and dating is a constant theme throughout the series, and it only becomes more prominent in later (yet to be translated) chapters. Since romance seems to be an important aspect of the series, I do think it should be tagged as such. Of course if things change later then I'll put in a request for the tag to be removed.

I'll try to see if I can get the description changed, though. At the moment it's definitely somewhat misleading.

Despite her meeting a woman on a 'dating' app i believe the tags are based on the genre of the original/raws? So besides 'josei' if there's not a romance tag from the author's opinion unless it's still ongoing and pressure from the audience/editor to go with a yuri end

And being bisexual and ending up with a man can still be a thing with ppl 'exploring their sexuality' can be a thing, i feel like ppl would feel 'betrayed' or at least frustrated/upset if it got a "girls love/ yuri tag" only for her to not end up with another girl in the end versus some open ended kinda end

Tho i have seen some tags for 'girls love' in one shots where they get confessed and rejected (and sometimes tagged as tragedy but i think that's a bit extreme versus like a death happening)

shibata sensei has drawn gl and bl illustrations (some can be seen on her booth) so as far as the homoeroticism goes, i'm certain she's not unaware of it.
