Day 1000.
Still no sign of the present. I write currently stranded. All others have either died or deserted me. One way or another I've been left alone on this voyage. The journey continues despite no sitings of the fabled "now."
Flashback fog haunts us creeping into every corner, slithering its way into our minds. Some went mad with fog frenzy and lept over the edge into the abyss. Never to be seen again. But I have my faith. One day we will make it to the present.
Day 1001 approaches. May this be the day.
