Ima make a guess/prediction:
MC childhood friend (ChF) probably did like him, but refused him for her friend's sake (because the friend also probably liked MC). But the friend feeling bad about ruining the mc relationship with the ChF, that she brought 'em back together, while still being too nervous to confess her feelings (until 1000 chapters later).
All the while, MC guy will slowly grow attached to MC girl, while trying to deny it and ignore any advances because he's...a male MC in a manga. Everyone confess, every cries, fanservice will be unnecessarily added (with censors like convenient steam/light etc.), and we go 3 years before the story is resolved.

The first chapter was good, why do you have to make her get molested bro, I can't believe I am dropping this on the second chapter, but I am. Author if in someway you see this, you messed up pretty bad, and please put on a tag of SA, so that more people don't create hopes of a wholesome manga, thanks in advance

You sound like someone that would complain about NTR when FMC talks to a other guy.

Likely so, but this chapter was just bad.
I get plot development, and the whole “incident where the fmc falls in love with the mc” progressions, but this was just unbelievably forced onto the plot, not fitting the first chapter’s ambiance — granted, I don’t remember much or any of the first chapter, so I could be entirely wrong, but imma trust the OP.

This is why harems are the answer.

How old are you, 13? What's next, call me a virgin or nerd?
Sounds to me like you're the one who is 13. It must be hard to understand for you, but in real life, outside of asian cartoons, someone forcibly touching you is sexual assault, and if they're planning on having sex against your will, that's called... Rape.

So yeah sounds like you need to grow up.

Best reply you have is a "no u"? Ok.

And if we talk about "need to grow up", I would say the person that keeps making (very low effort) insults would be a better target for that comment.

Anyways, Huang-Teizen pretty much explained it.
If the story was all about sexual assault, I would understand why someone would drop it. Plenty of times in romantic manga/light novels the "sexual assault" is just used to start the relationship between MC and the FMC. It's pretty much irrelevant for the rest of the story. Like Huang also said, you can dislike the method to start some connection between 2 characters, its kinda a common trope.

So yes dropping a title for something that is only 0.00001% of the story is dumb. I see the same bs in the comments when FMC talks to a guy and ppl drop it cause "NTR".

And oh, it's only rape when the deed is actually happening.

Well coming from someone that have read the LN and WN sexual assault is common in this work, specially later on when fmc sister get introduced so is a prevalent thing, so if someone is drawing the line here because of it, is better to do so, you don't have to act like such a shitter

I don't know if there is a tag fit for sa, but maybe the sa thing is just a lead to a bigger tragedy from the fmc's past. It's still a mystery how the fmc can't return home (might be dumped/run away).
Taking into account that the fmc reject all generosity given to her might be a clue to the bigger picture. I imagine a scenario where she is so loved by a certain person, given gift and all, just to suddenly got turned upside down and that person demand to return all of it's gift and all by any means possible.
The sa tag can just be put in tragedy if only it is fit to the storyline (but also there is smut tag which I still don't know what it does but a certain manga(?) with some sa in it had a smut tag), the only purpose of sa tag from your suggestion as far as I can tell is just to set a theme to this manga that this is not your everyday cute girl get head patted and spoiled but a girl finding happiness after a big tragedy. I find it as a waste just to put a new sa tag for a specific scenario where it can fall off to any other tags that can contain said tags.

I think I get what are you saying to not put the SA tag because it is not a recurring theme for the manga, and yes I agree that with the tag It may bury the manga, but sometimes people had a really bad day and just want to relax reading a wholesome story not thinking too much if the story is plain or not be it a oneshot or a fully storied manga, and while I now agree with with not putting a fully Tag of SA I still think at least a warning on the synopse of the manga would be very welcoming, I was angry when Ieft that comment so I did not think or explained too much abt It, so I expressed myself wrong.
