When I saw the cover for the second volume I thought the story would made a longer time skip and the girl with long hair was Renei.
But I started reading and she wasn't, so I forgot.
But actually it did turned out that Kayo was an older version Renei?
From what I understood reading between the lines, Kayo was raped by her father and got pregnant. If she is Renei does this mean that the man Renei's mother wanted to marry would rape her in the future? Not only Kayo being Renei was the reason why she liked Yoshida because he looked like Brother, is also the reason why Kayo liked Ryota enough to give him chocolate? Funny thing is that Kayo doesn't seem to remember anything from her "earlier life".
So mysterious.
Or is this all "metaphorical"?
