The history behind the Diablo's design was new to me as well! It's really fun to learn about it through this manga.

If you were following the comments of the previous chapter's discussion, here's a little update: I've made a little tool in Google Sheets to help calculate the amounts of money being discussed in the manga (you'll need a Google account.) First it uses historical exchange rates for JPY>USD as of time of publishing (e.g. 2008), and then uses USD CPI data to adjust for USD inflation, in order to (attempt) to give you, the readers, the most accurate idea of purchasing power with the Yen amounts being brought up. Try it out here, just copy the template as a new sheet into your Google Drive. (I do not see the Google accounts that access the template, don't worry.)

The two previous chapters' currency conversion notes have also been updated by using this calculation method.

How appropriate that this happened while the scanlation progress is up to the F40 arc. Apparently that was a technician who was handling a client's car. Although it was heartwrenching to see the wreck, I doubt it will be written off because most likely Ferrari will just rebuild it.

Yes, if I remember correctly someone from VINwiki mentioned that Ferrari has a habit of completely rebuilding crashed exemples, even providing complete replacements in the worst cases, and simply re-using the VIN as if it was the same car.
