I’m not entirely sure how possible / easy it would be to have, but it would be really nice to have a local css override in the settings for people to change the layout a bit for things that aren’t supported officially.
My use case was due to really wanting to be able to hide the description when in the search page on the mobile PWA in the non grid view. I don’t look at the descriptions at all, and it would be a lot more of an effective use of space to not show it due to that, but I understand that not everyone would agree and it likely wouldn’t get pushed to main, or have enough community backing to make a setting for it. Being able to change that bit to hidden would be really nice.
I can see some other use cases for it as well however I have a feeling there is a reason for why this won’t be implemented given that custom themes exist now, but are limited to only Colors rather then a css overrides. My guess is MD staff wouldn’t want to have users change hide/change some site bits like popups, however at the moment I’m not aware of anything which people would want to hide which would negatively effect the site.
I wouldn’t really think it’s something that needs to be stored on MDs side, just stored locally in browser storage with the PWA/site.
