Bruh how the heck this has rating over 8, let’s be honest, the inly good thing about this is art and maybe MC, but characters overall are mostly annoying and not likeable, the plot well we’re not that deep into it yet so I won’t say anything about it, but yeah the characters are seriously bad also wasting so many pages on her transformation and ending a chapter at this in addition? No no no, don’t tell me bullshit like „why u read it”, well probably because if I don’t read I don’t know if the story is good or no. So like, this is overrated, characters unlikeable and annoying, MC is more or less maybe better than generic japanese main character so, so overall 6-7/10 definitely not 8,5.

Oh man, I hope the transformation sequence is a set up to a joke. So far, this series has reach my top 1 spot for Xian Xia satire.

@bvdaf I guess this series isn't for you. People like it because its satire of all the typical Xian xia cliches that you probably enjoy. If you don't get the satire or don't like it, it probably means you enjoy that stuff. And that's fine I guess.
The MC is basically a mild mannered person. Unlike every other xian xia mc, and I mean every single one, he doesn't kill people who offend him. He's the typical Xian Xia MC, but not murderous, not rapey/lusty, and doesn't resort to violence instantly.
And just because people like this series that you don't like, and rate it highly, doesn't mean you should start shitting on the readers who like it. Everyone has their own opinions. I mean, some people thought SAO was amazing, while I thought it was the worst game-related series in the world, but that doesn't mean the people who like it are shit.

I can appreciate it when they draw a dynamic scene well, I lack the skill to even imagine how to draw something like that.
When the "dynamic scene" in question is essentially someone arriving over the duration of several pages or a transformation like in this chapter it just feels like an enormous waste of space.

To be honest, the pacing is all over the place.
Events just happen as they come, and the dialogues aren't very well thought. Plus, the scenario isn't that original.
