Thank you for the translation!
I know you mentioned leaving some info out of the notes at the end, but you can always add a second end page. I'd rather you write everything you want to, rather than feeling limited. I especially like your translations because you compare the WN to the manga; it is always appreciated, thank you.

Please don’t make the red-haired shithead redeemable…please. He was such an asshole. Like incredibly so. It was almost painful to read his dialogue. He spoke like everyone there was trash, and yet when he was humbled, barely showed any remorse.

Weird that the girls took off as soon as he wanted to do something for them. Kind of funny. And I guess Reti’s past exploration arc is coming through. She might be some kind of heroic experiment or something…

Thanks for the translation!

I try to keep it to a page so I don't end up overdoing it.

If you were wondering about what I left out:
Aldi managed to avoid Jirei's payback for the kidnapping by running off to do errands as soon as the fights were done. Leaving Jirei to brainstorm ways to get his revenge.

Eve and Rafine spend more time arguing about which one of the two is Jirei's wife. Leading Jirei to worry that Eve might escalate things by clinging to him all the time, even when he goes to the bathroom. While Jirei did think about answering their feelings, it's not stated if he would accept or reject them.

Jirei does find Reti's expression at her invitation being rejected to be Cute. While thinking about Char, he does make it clear that he views her as a little sister.

Reti received a parade when she entered the country. With lots of businesses offering their services to her. People around wondered if Jirei was part of the hero party at first, but became more hostile to him after learning that he wasn't. They saw him as a stranger who had slipped into Reti's party.

He did rethink about his approach of getting into the library the official way, but decided that since he snuck in last time, he might as well do it properly this time.

Seems like the author wanted to flesh out Lucas with the added scenes. His personality isn't very different in the WN; he still comes off as an ass. Though I don't hate him as others seem to. While he is a jerk, he is nowhere near as bad as the two others later.

Honestly, I don't think anyone here would ever consider you as "overdoing it." But I do understand not wanting to commit more time than you need to.
Thank you, I do appreciate you dropping the extra info. I feel like while they may have flushed out Lucas more, they did it at the cost of showing the personalities of the girls and the nuances with them. Also, how he was being treated makes more sense when you realize it is not just because he is not part of the hero's part, it is because he is not pat of the hero's party but hangs out with the hero! I was wondering how normal city citizens survive if everything is too expensive.

I try to keep it to a page so I don't end up overdoing it.

Jirei was just flat broke. He hadn't done any missions since the one with Rafine. He didn't take a lot of the money from the betting either. Didn't help that the grand prize was an engagement. He also spend a lot of money trying to get away from everyone. Did expect like a little montage of that in the manga but it was sadly skipped.

Think they also wanted to give Reti more screen time.

The manga does cut some of Jirei's thoughts and feelings. He did think along the lines of, "why can't this just be a party of good looking people? and not a hero's party. I'm good looking, please give me a discount!"
