Rereading this chapter I just now realized that Mary Goose's powers stem from their upbringing.
Their parents forced them to sing hymns for their sister's health and all the desires the older sister expressed on page 3 for Nene (Stop sensing pain, Stop seeing gazes, Stop hearing laughter and Stop feeling pain) all tie in with their Verses.
It even ties with what they said in Chapter 7 about Verse 4 (Stop movement) being something they had no idea they desired.
Also is it just me or does anyone else think Dominion comes off as what Ehta would be as an adult if he worked for the heroes and was actually willing to work with others?
