The only mandatory infodump they get is how to speak the major languages of the world at the time they get summoned (they will still retain command of their mother tongue and whatever else they learned in life if it isn't one of them; D'eon will always be fluent in French and the other ones they learned as part of their spy career, for example. This is why everyone pops out of the Throne speaking Japanese in the animes regardless of nationality); anything past that is up to Nasu feeling like if they should get one or if it's more fun if their Masters have to fill them in on things.
