The problem I have with this manga is that there isn't a single redeeming quality about the demons. In other manga is prefer if there were peace between the races, but in this one I think the only solution is mass demon genocide. There are no good demons only slightly better demons, and he can give the slightly better demons a quick and painless death, all the others should suffer just like the saintess

I’m sorry no matter your reasons, if you do this to anyone you’re the bad guys. I just can’t comprehend any reason for why you would treat someone like this even if they are your enemy. This is just eternal pain and torment without forseeable end, it’s needlessly cruel.

I kind of disagree. The only reason I would be ok with this is only if the person you are doing this to already did the same or similar atrocious acts to an innocent person.

Any amount of conflict I felt about killing all the demons has disappeared, Kill them all, The women, Children, EVERY SINGLE DEMON NEEDS TO DIE, THE ONLY GOOD DEMON IS A DEAD DEMON

The other problem is if she even going to be mentally sane when he frees her, because after all that torture I wouldn't be surprised if her mind devolved into that of a wild animals

So if we cut off burn parts in her arms and legs she can regrow new limb ?

This is what I was thinking too, seems too weird to be be used though so I doubt the mc will go and cut her up more as a fix.

My guess is at best:
A) He kills her to help. (I hope they don’t go this route, but it’s what feels most realistic)
B) He takes her with him and she doesn’t heal the limbs (not sure how he’d get her out, but I’d be oki with this)
C) He can heal her burns or someone else can. (Still feels too “easy” / weird. I doubt they’ll let her limbs come back, but I hope I’m wrong)

I personally think the burn thing is to say that those parts are perm gone, even if anything else happened, it feels iffy given how her ability was described but I think the burn part symbolizes something else more in the realm of fantasy when it comes to why it can’t heal.

I dont get why he didn't kill the two dark elf on the spot. He gain power with breaking taboo, this would have made for one massive taboo. He could have even made them suffer to break an even bigger taboo.
Then had he taken the elven saint for him he would have broken another taboo.
It feel like missed potential.

So not the burning, drowning, exsanguination, flaying alive, clearly the rape by goblin was the most horrifying.

Eh I mean given it was the first and the significance of it, I think it’s likely up there. Her mind hadn’t been as broken before that so it likely set the tone for the rest.

She did try to escape half way through the things so I suppose she was still semi— “alive” mentally after it, but I think doing that likely broke a large part of her.

Given how things look in this chapter, I think as things went on and as she broke more it likely became less— “bad” to her as she had already lost herself and was likely just in endless pain and already mostly mentally dead, so it’s hard to know when that point was for sure hit. (Not to say she’s fine with it now ofc, but I don’t know if she’s able to really process much currently to even think anything towards anything by this point)

But I don’t really think it’s right to say any of them were more or less bad then anything else given that I’m sure all were horrible in their own right and it’s kinda impossible to know where her mind was at at each point.

I guess report back how you feel if you get raped by a goblin so we can collect more data.

They literally explained why though

1. This woman is living enemy of the state #1
2. Her holy magic vaporizes demons
3. Shes functionally immortal and can just escape if they dont keep cutting her down
4. This elf clan hates her elf clan
5. Did you really expect decent people to run the torture dungeon prison?
6. Theres probably some prophecy shit going on that makes a new saint appear if they manage to kill her

It's explained afterward but basically they're trying to get her healing power for themselves that's the only reason she's still alive, cause they can't figure out how to get it

Not entirely, the thing is his tribe was dying and slowly destroying itself it should have been explained after the dinner but was skipped in the manga it seems, the reason the demon are at war with the rest of the world is that, if they don't war the others they'll destroy themselves which is a massive headache to the demon king, and the the only respite gilbagias gets XD
