The locals being drawn in black and then clearing up during Blanco's dance was such a beautiful way to communicate this 'bringing joy and hope back in people's hearts' effect.

I do feel like Sasha could have used a bit more development time before dumping such an extremely intense backstory on the reader in one go. It doesn't shock quite as much as I think it could if we were allowed to slowly build up the question 'just how fucked up was Sasha's life to become this way?'. Granted, he's portrayed a lot more normal given the circumstances. The juxtaposition between him and Junpei is very fun to watch. Imho, a better frienemy than Ruo, who is just all manners of fucked up. (Not that his story isn't very interesting).

Just wondering, why Russian characters are so extra in this story?! 😅 Both Ruo and Sasha are so overdramatic.
Back to the chapter, idk I just love Junpei's attitude so much. He truly respects his rivals and admires his idols as they are and without any malice. It was really touching when he told Sasha that he was good as himself, like, mate, you don't have to live Blanco's life, you're already amazing as Sashko! It wasn't much appreciated though but...oh well 😅 they still have a chance to become frienemys.
