As much as I liked the Miku scene and the yabai Affirming Big Brother max output, this version is really funny, unexpected, and functional. In a single move it pulled the family from the sidelines into the spotlight, brought back the Sato family being embarrassing subplot (lol), and represents another step (well, more a blow under the belt than a step) toward regaining freedom. Chef's kiss.
People who always complain about Sou not being aware of the weirdness can be a little happier too.
BTW, Violet-sama got singled out with that “especially,” but he did say "my family" , including Sakura as well, LOL.
