I guess I am carefully optimistic. This story is quite the mine field for the author. Can't make the prince too sympathetic considering what he'd done and we don't want the innkeeper to succeed in her endeavor to restore him to his former confidence/arrogance.

The only way I see for this to succeed is with a loooot of humor and self-awareness or this could turn out similar to the Banisher's Side Party train wreck.

My hope is that, in the process of building the prince back up, Emma is able to see the prince as a fellow, flawed person, and the prince comes to recognize the error of his ways. I'd like to see him regain his confidence without the arrogance and for Emma to stop putting him on a pedestal. XD
