If I had to guess I'd think it was probably because of controversial content. But there are onee-shota out there that are worse going on for a while.

nope a lot of others manga from the magazine got cancelled at once, seems either the magazine got finished or a lot got ended

No, I've quit scanlation because of health issues, I get severe head aches and it's just not worth it for me any more. I've dropped everything else I was working on too for the same reason.
