Yes, all this evidence of Gotou's accidental rise in social standing is priming Shigechi for the moment when Gotou finally breaks down and straight up tells her that she's the only girl he's turned on by. Shigechi, who clearly likes Inukai, but not the fact that she'll never be his number one, will be touched enough by Gotou's oneitis for her to give him a shot.
Gotou, who is now super pent up, will give Shigechi the legendary dicking Agawa told her about. This will cure his ED, because the fact that a girl with no reason to humor or forgive a poor sexual performance liked his stuff proves what Agawa said was 100% wrong.
However, the complication for the next arc will be that Shigechi will expect or even demand exclusivity from Gotou (since she only let him smash because he said she was the only one), who having been cured of his ED, will naturally want to go back to polyamory with her, Shiina, and Akito too.

Be careful, this might just happen... and that would be hilarious

Bruuuh, my mind is racing and overthinking. Does she mean she saw Akito with Inukai when they first met (the handhob)? or during the festival? Or was it some time that we haven't seen yet? 😭 I have a bad feeling about this. This ish is pretty confusing but i think i get the gist of it.

Shige is starting to see lots of people she knows, like and hang around Gotou, a guy she thought of as lame and creepy. This has piqued her interest in him. Sakura and Yui mentioned Akito to her and how she'll try going after the guy she likes, who is Inukai im assuming, and technically Gotou, Though she's more curious than anything. From Shige's POV, Akito is yet another girl who is hanging around this guy who she thought of as lame and creepy. However, im guessing Sakura and Yui don't know that Akito hasn't done anything with Inukai (I hope), and that Akito and Gotou had already had a relationship. There seems to be a lot of assumptions, rumors, and miscommunication going on that breeds this current drama. Its interesting and entertaining, a bit confusing but im overall interested to see what happens next. I just hope this doesnt devolve in an Akito NTR

Im not gonna lie, this series is a heep of random garbage, but Takeda sure as hell knows how to brew up some drama. This chapter lowkey makes me nervous because 1: The rumor that Akito is a slut, which to our knowledge isn't true. I dont know if this could be foreshadowing, or if said rumor will lead Akito to being dragged into something/a scenario where NTR happens. And 2: The fact that i don't know how this will play out. I'm really interested in seeing what happens. But i stand on the hill that i will die on, i really DO NOT want an Akito NTR situation to happen. This comment is all over the place and leaves out a lot more of my thoughts on the situation, Im in a rush right now, Maybe ill be back later to type out my predictions.

Still i have the impression Agawa dgaf about that, in her eyes, Gotou is gonna still be the pathetic simp and in her personal tier, he's still below the other fuckbuddies. And if she finds out he fucked Shigechi, then she'll roast him again.

So Akito did complete her corruption it seems. Welp, Gotou has to face the consequences of his horniness. He made a naive and pure girl become Agawa's rival in sluttiness.

And Inukai seems to go payback time on Gotou's ass for what happened during summer.

It certainly seems to be setting up that way, for this drama to devolve into a NTR-type situation involving Akito. Though the rumors surrounding Akito being a slut and stealing Inukai away from Sakura seem like it's just that, a rumor from 2 girls who don't actually know what has gone on. We, the readers, know that Akito and Inukai haven't done anything, or at least that is what we have been shown. So, imo I don't think Akito has completed a corruption phase because, technically, to our knowledge, Gotou is still the only guy she has ever been with. Though this is definitely a drama that can devolve into some pretty undesirable things happening. I'm both interested in seeing what happens, but also nervous. I thought Inukai was gone for good, but that's obviously not the case, if he doesn't heed Gotou message of "Akito is off limits", then she is technically still in danger with a looming NTR threat about to re-enter the story between Akito and Inukai (or maybe another guy). Im also interested to see how Shige will play a part in all of this. We have seen her pretty much despise Gotou all this time, and now he is living rent free in her head due to her seeing so many people she has deemed cool (Agawa, Inukai, Shina) hanging around him. Is she ends up doing the deed with him, thats going to be interesting to see.
