I'm surprised they allowed him to express his annoyance & frustration on both the publisher & his editor. This makes a lot of sense on why the direction of the original timeline got bad & that the art got worse (albeit the art was never the strongest but you can notice it when you compare to the earlier chapters). Editors are a pain in Japan & will always try to extend the length of a manga even if the author wants to end it properly.
