Kind of hilarious to introduce a character who used to be stationed in belgium (which has one of the oldest and densest train networks in the world) and have him become so utterly enamored with trains only after moving to japan. Guess the service in belgium must have sucked real bad lmao. (and to be fair it has the reputation of being bad, though objectively speaking it's somehow still one of the better train-networks of europe)
