Had you read this chapter, you would notice he said he couldn't meet shigeo this morning, shigeo was also shown on the rooftop, well you know the rest. Also, while he can skip class, he can't just barge into another class, which is why he waited for the break time.

I think it's pretty obvious the one who spread around the school is the teacher at Shigeo club who we have seen a lot with Shigeo and the little kid we still don't know of. He was already suspicious even since the early of the manga, but could have never guess why would he be suspicious exactly until know.

He was on the rooftop for a short moment when that bully classmate pulled him aside, not the entire time. And yes, he could just barge into the class, because this is the life or death of the whole goddamn World Line at stake that we're talking about; being seen as having poor manners by barging in is meaningless. It's a poor way to build tension.

Who cares? I mean of course we and the MC do, but for the ordinary people, they are nothing more than a nonsense. Don't forget, most people didn't even know the existence of the D-Game. Assuming he does barge into the class, then what? Killing him? Dragging Shigeo out of class? For what? He can't just ask "hey you are the king of the greed, right?", Shigeo would have no clue. Like he said, past Shigeo could have possibly didn't know anything, there could be another replacement if Shigeo dies before being crowned as the king, that's what Kaname trying to figures out, the relation of Shigeo and the greed. We haven't even factored people stopping MC from doing anything he want(teacher is authority in the school, they wouldn't like it). Moreover, he's wanting to save the future, so anything he does here will probably affect the future(like he being an actual killer than just your ordinary dgame player).
