Not in manga description nor 1st chapter anywhere does it say a thing about taking revenge.
With all that information we can assume that MC doesn't want to ruin the other noble families nor kill any of them, which would've been the reason for me to read further.
Also, a protagonist can be kind to those who deserve it but ruthless also to the evil/bad people. Mostly japanese authors just choose a protagonist who's kind to even evil people.
But yeah I don't see this one being for my taste.
