@Cookie_Revolution_Scans Please don't use "the-kind-of-watermark-you-are-using-right-now". It really is annoying. I am following some of your releases and just read this chap to get a glimpse of how this manga is, but your watermark ruined the already fairly good opinion I made of this. You wan't to be acknowledged of the work you have done, that is good. (Probably) who doesn't. Please post it as a header or a footer or in any non intrusive manner.

@m4ng4 Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately I have to say that the watermark will remain. We're not putting the stamp because we have a narcissistic urge to see our group name stamped upon every page. The credit pages and a tiny stamp somewhere in between every 5 pages would more than suffice for this. What we want is for you to purchase the manga if you have a "fairly good opinion" of it and thus actually like it - in which case you will also get access to the chapters watermark-free. But since most people will never even buy a 10th of all the manga they read, this is a trade-off. You get to read it and possibly judge if it's worth spending money on and the mangaka (whose living arrangements are reliant upon people's fair treatment towards them) gets sales from those who would like to enjoy the art work more, be that either by purchasing the Japanese or (maybe at some point) English version. For your info: We did use generic stamps before (because this is not about stamping our name on the pages for the sheer sake of it) that had nothing whatsoever to do with our group but both readers and our own staff members were in favor of using the logo instead when we had people vote before. They actually felt that this stamp was easier to read through and nicer to look at.

@Cookie_Revolution_Scans I can't deny and argue when you have chosen to deal with your cause like that. I never knew the purpose of your actions. So, pardon me, when I say, the reasons behind the huge-watermarking was not very apparent to me when I just see your group's logo and nothing of sorts, which may depict your cause. It's obvious to me that every effort put into by content creators should appropriately be payed with and I may sound rude, but I would also like to point that, when I use this site, I probably can't pay / unable to pay or don't wanna pay for anyone or all of the content(s) that I have accessed.
I am sorry, that I took your noble intentions as otherwise and it was never my intentions that made you to use, self-insulting word just so as to justify it to me.
Thanks for the FYI and on a lighter note, maybe in years to come if I start my own group, I prolly would name it, "Buy-this @m4ng4 when-you-can" group.

Wow what a polite exchange of information on the internet. Btw, you might want to change the end card to promote Dex instead of Batoto, since the latter was taken by some aggregator

Anyways, I just binge read this today and it's pretty thrilling. Carolette just cemented her place as my favorite character, so I hope she doesn't die...

@m4ng4 Thank you for your calm response! I really appreciate it when people like yourself can have a serious discussions about this without any namecalling involved. That's actually become pretty rare in the manga community. On a side note: Maybe this will make you laugh... I actually thought about creating a stamp that said "Buy this on _______" at some point. But I didn't pull through with the idea because
1) I didn't want to advertise certain stores over others,
2) if I did stamp that onto the page, I'd actually like it to be a tiny link directly linking to the product page of the manga in question...but that would be a bunch of extra work if done for every manga and volume we work on and I just don't have the time for that and
3) I didn't want to give the impression that we were in some way connected to some store (which could also become a legal issue). We can tell people where we buy our manga and of sites that we've heard good things about but meh... We do list some on our forum and FB page if people are interested and can't find it on their own.
And no, you're not rude at all. I understand perfectly that not everyone's got the money to buy (many) manga. That's why we offer our version the way it is. Otherwise we'd just put out the info that we do have it scanlated and people who bought the official version may approach us to receive their version of our scans. If you can't purchase Death Edge, then I hope you can still enjoy reading it with our scanlation a bit. ? Thanks again for the nice exchange and have a lovely holiday season!


@Ceiye: Thank you very much for the info! I thought I had changed it all to Dex by now but I still sometimes find a "Batoto" here and there. I'll make a note to change the card when I next work on it.
And yes, Caro rocks. I'm actually really excited to learn more about her backstory. To me it seems like she's got a really fragile part hidden under all that over-confidence and I like the dynamics between her and Li.

@Cookie_Revolution_Scans It's "Treat others as how you would like to be treated"--kinda thing. and even if I can't comprehend with someone that doesn't gives me any right to insult others. Mentioning the sources is a tricky issue and I agree with your "meh..." lol, as, people interested in buying will ask regardless, unless they are already familiar with.
Also, I've been following a couple of your group's issues already, so I don't see why I would not enjoy reading this one with you. I'm always up for a meaningful info/discussion and it was certainly the case here. So. thanks for providing with one. and Wishing you and your guys luck and a happy holiday season.
