From what I understand, the Popular New Titles carousel on the front page displays the top 10 titles from the currently selected content filter combination.
So, if the user only selects "safe" content, the carousel will display 10 "safe" titles, and the same will be true for other filters.
If the user selects "safe" and "suggestive," the carousel will display the top 10 titles from that combination,
not necessarily a 5-by-5 split, but depending on how it's sorted internally.
So I'm wondering,
what if the Popular New Titles also had a separate dedicated page to display all currently popular titles for all content filters?
(okay, maybe 3, without "mature")
I imagine it would look like the Recently Added page, but limited to 30 titles max.
The page would still hide titles depending on the content filter the user selected.
So, the page would display a minimum of 10 popular titles (if the user only selected one content filter) and a maximum of 30 popular new titles (if the user selected all filters).
The problem is, I don't know how the system handles language selection.
I like checking out new manga, and I'm just curious to see what popular titles get replaced by the content filter,
but I'm not that curious that I'd bother to switch between content filters just to check it.
Just an idea.
