I don't know whose idea it was to mix mecha and ecchi, but this is a combination of genres I haven't seen much since the late 90s and early 2000s. Seeing a naked woman piloting a Gundam will never not be surreal to me.
Please don't tell me Masamune becomes the real pilot of the Minerva and not Kaoris. I always liked seeing more female pilots in Gundam and Kaoris herself is a very interesting character to be a pilot. Why did she lose control over the Minerva?
I know this is already ridiculous enough in certain places, but I still feel the need to point out how the guy's head was literally on fire yet unscathed. Does he have the same kind of fire resistant+regenerative trait that Kaoris and her mother has?
So I'm guessing Emilia is Masamune's love interest, but it's not clear whether she's his wife since I didn't see a ring on his hand. By "memories" and the serial killer guy it seems she's not of this world any longer either.
